Ms Lidy Uiterwijk Winkel and her 7 year old son – Tycho Zandbergen, summited Sani Pass and travelled into Lesotho together. Lidy and Tycho are from the Netherlands.
It was a privilege to enable mother and child to share such a bucket-list life experience together, and to see how the Dutch are such serious world-travellers.
Lidy and Tycho spent a few days in Himeville-Underberg, before continuing their journey North along the Drakensberg – back to Johannesburg, where they would catch their international flight back home.
