A true, once in a lifetime, cultural experience.

After passing the remote town of Mokhotlong and seeing the national plant ‘the Spiral Aloe’ we then climb to the “Roof of Africa” past the Letsing Diamond Mine (world’s highest diamond mine), In January 2018 the world’s fifth largest diamond, a 910 carat gem, of exceptional quality was found at this mine.

After a visit to the Leribe Craft Centre to watch mohair being spun and then we make our way to the Ha Kome Cave Dwellings, built in the 19th century and still lived in by the original families.  The caves have been carefully restored and are in the process of being declared a National Heritage site.
