Warren Dlamini

Warren started at Major Adventures in his early twenties and has grown and matured into one of our most valuable guides. He is a qualified and accredited guide with an expert knowledge of the flowers and the birdlife on the Sani Pass.

Warren conducts a very detailed and in depth tour up the Sani Pass, often keeping the clients fascinated with his great cultural stories and giving so much more than they expected.

Ellias Mofokeng

Ellias is an accredited guide and outstanding guide from all aspects. He is friendly, full of humour and his knowledge is unlimited. He is conscientious and will always go the extra mile. Ellias has the ability to spot birds and animals from a long way off. He will then wait to see if his clients will see it, hinting to them as he gets closer.

He is the most requested guide from Major Adventures with lots of comments from Trip Advisor.

Viv Kubone

Viv is a qualified and accredited guide. Viv is the longest serving guide still driving the Sani Pass & started guiding up the Pass in 1993. His years of driving and experiences on the Sani Pass makes him a legend. Decisions to be made on the Sani Pass regarding weather conditions, snow and ice are normally left to Viv.

His wise and calm demeanor together with his mechanical knowledge of vehicles has made him a great asset to Major Adventures.

David Sichwe

David arrived with a burst of energy some years ago and has already become an excellent guide. He has acquired a wealth of knowledge of the Sani Pass and Lesotho and has already had excellent reviews from some of our clients.

David’s command of the English language, his calm and easy going manner with clients make him a real asset to Major Adventures.

Raphael Mnikathi

Raphael is an accredited site guide, is likeable, hard working and always smiling. He has attended many Rock Art workshops and has gained an incredible knowledge of the San Rock Art. Before joining us he headed up the Kamberg Rock Art Centre.

He has also obtained his level 4 Rock Art Tourist Guiding Course, awarded by the SA Rock Art initiative, a program of the Getty Conservation Institute.

Allen Mhkize

Allen and I played together as children. He is a qualified and accredited guide, is punctual, reliable and can always be called upon in the last minute. He has many years experience driving on the Sani Pass. Allen is calm, easy going and has a great sense of humour.

We are proud to have him on our team.

 

Greg Shackleford

Greg’s earlier days were spent  in the Kruger Park, where he became proficient in Bush interpretation, wildlife and conservation.  He also qualified in advanced 4×4 driving and has driven support 4×4 vehicles for tours across Southern Africa.

Having moved to Underberg Greg became an accredited guide and has put his knowledge to use by joining the Major Adventures team.
